What Is It?
The Nevera R is an evolution of Rimac’s all-electric hypercar, designed to prioritize track-ready dynamics over long-distance comfort. It is the culmination of Founder Mate Rimac’s dream of creating the worlds fastest electric car. While the standard Nevera balanced GT luxury with hypercar performance, the R strips away some refinement to deliver a more intense, driver-focused experience. It’s lighter, faster, and more aerodynamically efficient, making it the ultimate expression of Rimac’s electric performance.
Performance & How It Differs From The Nevera
Unlike the standard Nevera, which was designed as a high-speed Grand Tourer, the Nevera R is a track-honed machine. It features a 15% increase in downforce, a 10% boost in aerodynamic efficiency, and new Michelin Cup 2 tires for sharper handling. The All-Wheel Torque Vectoring system has been recalibrated, and the steering is more responsive, ensuring precision on twisty roads and circuits. Additionally, the EVO2 carbon-ceramic brakes provide superior stopping power, while the lighter, performance-tuned battery enhances agility.

Specifications that scream ‘Superlative’

Driver-centric Minimalist Interior
The Nevera R’s cabin remains driver-focused and ultra-customizable, now with new color and trim options inspired by its Nebula Green launch livery. Painted carbon fiber panels on the dashboard and center console can match the exterior or be tailored to the owner’s preference. The paint not only adds to the minimalist feeling but also reduces the weight of what would have been heavier material. While still luxurious, the interior leans more toward a race-inspired feel, aligning with the car’s track-ready nature.

Final Thoughts
By shedding some GT comforts in favor of track-honed aggression, the Rimac Nevera R becomes an even more thrilling machine. Limited to just 40 units, it represents the pinnacle of Rimac’s engineering, proving that electric cars can be as visceral and engaging as the greatest ICE hypercars.
